DAMPAK DAN PERSEPSI NELAYAN TERHADAP PERUBAHAN IKLIM DI KECAMATAN BANYUASIN II KABUPATEN BANYUASIN SUMATERA SELATAN
Climate change is a condition marked by changes in world climate patterns that result in erratic weather phenomena. Climate change is a global phenomenon where there is an increase in the earth's temperature as a result of human activities such as the use of fossil fuels and changes in land use. The impact of climate change is a problem faced by fishers, affecting fishers' catches. The existence of climate change causes fishers to be unable to determine the seasons that will occur. This research aims to: (1) Analyze the fishing business in the Banyuasin II sub-district. (2) How is the impact of climate change on fishing fishers in the Banyuasin II sub-district. (3) Analyzing fishers' perceptions of climate change in the Banyuasin II sub-district. This research was conducted in Banyuasin II sub-district, Banyuasin district in 5 villages namely Marga Sungsang, Sungsang I, Sungsang II, Sungsang III and Sungsang IV. Determination of the location was done purposively. The research method used is a survey method. Withdrawal of samples or samples in this study using purposive sampling method by using specific criteria in selecting samples. The data obtained in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. The first objective of this study is to describe the impact of climate change on fishers directly or indirectly. The second objective is to analyze the fishing business by calculating production costs, income, R/C, and B/C. Next, the third objective, namely using a Likert scale with indicators of information, temperature, season, and the number of catches. The results show that climate change affects fishers' activities in the Banyuasin II sub-district, Banyuasin district, especially on jool boat fishers because of the giant waves. The income according to the criteria of ships in Banyuasin II sub-district, Banyuasin district is jool boat fishers per year with an average of Rp65.185.733 and income from pompong boat fishers per year with an average of Rp98.750.667. The perception level of the most prominent fishers on the temperature indicator with the highest average score of 11,80 has high criteria.
