This study aims to determine the description of Body Mass Index, diet, and physical activity. As well as the correlation between Body Mass Index and Diet on Physical Activity of SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan students. This type of research is descriptive quantitative survey method using BMI calculation, International Physical Activity Quetionnaire (IPAQ), and Food Frequency. The population in this study were students of SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan. The sample used is Accidental Sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple correlation analysis and Chi-Square test using computer aids in Excel and SPSS 25 programs. The results of Body Mass Index (BMI) show that 53 (48%) students are underweight category. The results of the diet show that 53 (48%) students are in the less category. As for the results of physical activity 57 (52%) students in the medium category. The conclusion in this study is that there is no relationship between body mass index and physical activity with a P value of 0.311 > 0.05. There is no relationship between diet and physical activity with a p value of 0.569 > 0.05. And there is no correlation between body mass index and diet on the physical activity of students at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan with a sig value. f change 0.702 > 0.05 and the calculated value of 0.081 is included in the low correlation. One of the causes is poor eating behavior that results in underweight (thin) students, irregular eating frequency, and non-optimal food selection for nutritional consumption related to poor health. If the consumption of nutrients is always less than adequate, then a person will experience malnutrition. Conversely, if consumption exceeds adequacy, it will result in excess nutrition. Consumption of balanced nutrition and according to needs will help adolescents achieve optimal growth and development. Keywords: BMI, Diet and Physical Activity.
