lntroduction: lmmunization or vaccination is a procedure to improve immunity against microorganism. The coverage of immunization in 1-2 years-old children could be incomplete because of some factors, such as, the order of children in the family, living in village, low education of parent, economical problem, and number of family member. Therefore, the goal of this study is to find the relationship between the age gap of the child*s birth and completeness of basic immunizations received by children Methods: An analytical research with cross sectional approach was conducted at Puskesmas Sukarami Palembang. The data that used in this research were KMS or immunization record and questioner. Population in this research was all mother and children who got immunization at Puskesmas Sukarami. Sample of this research was mothers and children that came to Puskesmas and met the inclusion criteria. Result: Out of 57 admitted samples, the child with complete immunization was 73.7% and the child with incomplete immunization was 26.3%. There was no relation between the age gap of the child*s birth and completeness basic immunization (p=0,208,OR 2,27, Cl 95% 0,622-8,300). There was a relation between the completeness of primary immunization with occupation of parents (p=0,001, OR 1,714, Cl 95% 1,301-2,259), education (p=0,024, OR 0,154, Cl 95% 0,031-0,755), economic (p=0,001, OR 0,605, Cl 95% 0,468-0,782), the distance of health Service from house (p=0,045, OR 0,239, Cl 95% 0,068-0,836).There was no a relation between the completeness of primary immunization with gender (p=l,000, OR 1,143, Cl 95% 0,351-3,723), age of children when they get the first immunization (p=0,420, OR 0,3 Cl 95% 0,035-2,659), age of mother(p=0,763, OR 0,8, Cl 95% 0,188-3,413), and number of the child in family (p=0,713, OR 1,545, Cl 95% 0,389-6,139). Conclusion: There was no relation between the age gap of the child*s birth and completeness basic immunization.
