Supplementation of B-Complex Vitamins and ZINC (Zn) Minerals in Palm Oil Fronds Silage on Nutritional Composition of Ruminant Feed (Supervised by Dr. Ir. ARMINA FARIANI, M.Sc.) The aim of this study was to determine the nutritional composition of oil palm fronds silage enriched with vitamin B-complex and Zinc (Zn) minerals in oil palm fronds proximately. This research was carried out from February to May 2021 at the Laboratory of the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University and Animal Feed Laboratory of the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 3 treatments and 3 replications, including P0 (fresh oil palm fronds), P1 (oil palm fronds powder silage), P2 (oil palm fronds silage and 3% vitamin B-complex), and P3 (oil palm fronds silage and 3% Zinc (Zn)). Parameters observed included dry matter content, organic matter content, crude protein content, crude fiber content, and ash content. The differences in treatment were analyzed using SPSS version 20 software. The results of this study showed that silage with vitamin B complex and Zinc (Zn) supplementation increased the crude fiber content (P2 52.78%), protein content (12.63%) dan ash content (P3 3.56%).
