PENGARUH KECEPATAN PUTARAN VARIASI JUMLAH MATA PISAU TIPE BLADE PADA MESIN PERAJANG PAKAN TERNAK DENGAN BERBAGAI JENIS BAHAN
The research objective was to determine the performance of blade rotation speed with several variations in the number of blades on an animal feed chopper using several types of forage. The data obtained from this study used the Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAKF) method with 2 research factors, namely factor A (type of forage) and factor B (variation in the number of blades). This study used three levels of treatment, namely factor A (bengal grass, elephant grass and corn) and factor B (blade 2, blade 3, and blade 4). The research work was repeated 3 times for each treatment and there were 3 parameters used in this study, namely the effective working capacity of the engine, chopping yield and fuel consumption. Based on the research that has been done, the highest results from all parameters are the effective working capacity of the engine 52.10 kg/hour, the yield of census is 94.89%, and the fuel requirement is 0.554 liters/hour and the lowest result is the effective working capacity of the engine is 34.65 kg. /hour, chopping yield 89.11%, and fuel consumption 0.354 liters/hour. One of the factors that influence the results of this study is the rotational speed of the blade which significantly affects all parameters.
