Pakcoy is a vegetable plant that often cultivated because pakcoy is a short-lived plant. Biofertilizer is the type of fertilizer that can meet the nutrient needs of plants if applied in the right dose and it is applicated by spraying directly on plants can reduce or prevent nutrient loss due to leaching. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of the biofertilizer’s dosage and to find out the best fertilizer treatment in Ultisol for optimal growth and production of pakcoy. This research was carried out from March to May 2021, in the greenhouse of the Department of Soil, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir. The research method used in this research was Split Plot Design with three replications, which the main plot was the frequency of bioripah aplication that consisted of two levels, once application of bioripah coded F1 and twice applications coded F2, while the subplots was the dosage of bioripah used with six levels of treatment, consisting of D1 = 0,5 mL of bioripah, D2 = 1,0 mL of bioripah, D3 = 1,5 mL of bioripah, D4 = 2,0 mL of bioripah, D5 = 2,5 mL of bioripah and D6 = 3,0 mL of bioripah. The observed variables were plant height, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, leaf area, root fresh weight, root dry weight, root length, soil pH value, soil moisture and soil temperature. The data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at the 5% level to determine the effect of treatment on the tested variables. If the F test has a significant or very significant effect, then it is continued with Duncan's test (DMRT) to find out the differences between all treatments. The results of this study indicated that the effect of once application 2,5 mL bioripah was the best treatment to the growth of pakcoy. The analysis of variance showed that all treatments had no significant effect except on pH H2O, plant height at five weeks planting, and leaf width.
