PENGARUH TEKANAN AERASI DAN VARIASI JARAK TANAM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN SELADA ( LACTUCA SATIVA L . ) PADA HIDROPONIK RAKIT APUNG
Plant respiration is very dependent on the availability of oxygen in the water, plant roots will be quickly damaged and die if they experience respiration failure. In addition, the success of lettuce cultivation is also controlled by environmental factors, on of which is the level of plant density. The research objective was to determine The Aeration Pressure And Variations In Spacing Effect To Lettuce (Lactuca Sativa L.) Growth On Floating Raft Hydroponics. The method used in this research was Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAKF) with two factor treatment consisting of Spacing Variations (A) at two levels and the aeration pressure (B) at three levels with three replications for each treatment combination. The result showed that the 30 cm spacing is better than the 20 cm spacing in increasing the width of the crown, root length, and total fresh weight of the plant. The highest yield of lettuce was obtained by the aeration pressure treatment of 16 kPa and the spacing of 30 cm, namely 82,89 g and the lowest was by the aeration pressure treatment of 0 kPa and the spacing of 20 cm, namely 47,06 g.
