ANALISIS KESIAPAN MENJADI GURU SETELAH PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM PLP MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 PADA MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI FKIP UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA TAHUN AKADEMIK 2018
This research aims to describe the level of readiness to become a teacher after the implementation of the PLP program during the Covid-19 pandemic for students of Economics Education FKIP Sriwijaya University in the 2018 academic year. The research method is descriptive quantitative. This research uses two data collection techniques, namely questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that the level of readiness to become a teacher after the implementation of the PLP program during the Covid-19 pandemic for Economic Education students at FKIP Sriwijaya University in the 2018 academic year, namely there were 25 students or 34.72% in the very high category, 46 students or 63.89% are in the high category, and 1 student or 1.39% are in the fairly high category. Of the four indicators measuring readiness to become a teacher, namely readiness in making lesson plans, readiness in carrying out learning, readiness in evaluating learning, and readiness in carrying out teacher administration, all are categorized as high. This shows that students have the readiness to become high-level professional teachers after implementing the PLP program during the Covid-19 pandemic with an average percentage of 83.08%. Based on this research, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of learning in lectures, especially in micro-teaching courses related to indicators of readiness in carrying out learning because they get the lowest average of the other three indicators so it is necessary to improve students' abilities through the practice of basic teaching skills and students must be enthusiastic and explore more the learning process in lectures, especially in the Basic Education Course (MKDK) to have the readiness to become a professional teacher is further improved after the implementation of the PLP program.
