EFIKASI HER BISIDA METIL METSULFURON PENGENDALIAN GULMA DALAM PADA PADI SAWAH (Oryza Sativa L.)
This study aim to determine changes in weed composition, the most effective dose of herbicide, phytotoxicity levels, and yields of lowland rice due to the application of methyl metsulfurone herbicide. This research was carried out from March to August 2020 in Seridalam, Tanjung Raja, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. The study used a randomized block design with treatment P1 = methyl metsulfuron herbicide 10 g ha-1, P2 = methyl metsulfuron herbicide 15 g ha-1, P3 = methyl metsulfuron herbicide 20 g ha-1, P4 = methyl metsulfuron herbicide 25 g ha-1, P5 = mechanical weeding, P6 = control (without control). Based on the results of the study, the P1 treatment (Herbicide methyl metsulfuron 10 g ha-1) showed that the highest average yield of unhulled grain was 2.48 kg.
