This study aims to produce a development product in the form of learning media using the Discord application on advertising text material for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya. The type of research conducted is research with research and development methods (Research and Development). The model used in this study is the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Learning Media using the Discord application on advertising text material for class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya students was developed based on the results of needs analysis and the results of interviews with students and teachers. Based on the results of the needs analysis, learning media products using the Discord application are needed in learning advertising texts, according to the conditions of learning advertising texts for teachers and students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya. The next step is to do a plan which consists of making a design, namely product design, material design, expert validation and product revision. The expert validation test consisted of material experts, media experts, and linguists. The results of media validation got a total value of 73 and converted to 91, 25% of the maximum value of 80 for the media eligibility component. The results of material validation get a total value of 58 and are converted to 96.66% of the maximum value of 60 for the material feasibility component. The results of the language validation get a total score of 45 and are converted to 82% of the maximum value of 55 for the language eligibility component. Based on the results of expert validation, the learning media for listening to advertising texts using the Discord application in learning to understand advertising texts for class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya is very feasible and categorized as very good.
