Algebra teaching in RMT is designed to involve student in pracicing conceptual elements of mathematics function by using psychological tools and cognitive function. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to see the emergence of indicators at the level of abstract relational thinking using the Rigorous Mathematical Thinking (RMT) approach on the topic of algebra with Systems of Linear Equations: Three Variables. The test questions consist of two questions in the form of descriptions. The research subjects in this study were 26 students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang class X Olympiad. In comparison, the research subjects were four students with high and medium abilities by purposive sampling based on the teacher's recommendation. The research implementation procedure consists of three stages: the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the data analysis stage. The study consisted of three meetings. At the first meeting and the second meeting, the researcher did it offline. The third meeting was given online abstract relational ability test questions through the Zoom Meetings application. The results obtained at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang class X Olympiad that students' abstract relational abilities through the RMT approach on algebraic topics were very good.
