RESPON PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN KALE ( var. MEDIA TANAM S abellica) TERHADAP KOMPOSISI PADA BUDIDAYA TERAPUNG
This study aims to determine the growth and yield of water spinach (Brassica oleracea var. Sabellica) using various floating media compositions. This research was conducted from May to July 2021 in a Floating raft on pond of an off-campus research facility located in Jakabaring (104°46'44"E;3°01'35"S) Palembang, South Sumatera. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of the composition of the growing media with 3 treatment levels, that is Soil : Husk Charcoal : Goat Manure M1 (2:2:1), Soil : Husk Charcoal : Goat Manure M2 (2:1:1), Soil : Husk Charcoal : Goat Manure M3 (2:1:2). The results showed that the composition of the growing media had a very significant effect on the parameters of plant height 48 DAP (Days After Planting), number of leaves 42 DAP, leaf length 48 DAP, canopy area 34 DAP and 44 DAP, root length, canopy diameter, stem diameter, crown fresh weight, leaf fresh weight, leaf dry weight, petiole dry weight, and crown dry weight. The best growth and yield components were shown by the treatment of the composition of the media Soil : Husk Charcoal : Goat Manure M2 (2:1:1). Keywords : Kale, Goat Manure, Husk Charcoal, Floating
