RESPON TANAMAN PADI (Oryza sativa L.) VARIETAS IR-42 SECARA TERAPUNG TERHADAP PEMBERIAN PUPUK NPK
This research aims to evaluate the response of IR-42 rice plant variety in a floating system to the application of NPK fertilizers. This research was conducted in Embung of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. Starting from June until September 2021. The study was arranged by using a Randomized Complitely Block Design (RCBD) with 4 treatments and 3 replicates resulting in 12 experimental units with 3 plants per unit, so that there were 36 plants in total. The treatments consisted of P0 = Control, P1 = 10 g NPK/polybag, P2 = 20 g NPK/polybag, and P3 = 30 g NPK/polybag. The observed parameters included plant height, tiller number, leaf greenish level, shoot fresh weight, panicle length, panicle weight, and the length, and the length and root weight. The results of the studied, showed that the application of NPK fertilizer for 20 grams/polybag (P2) was the best treatment based on the variables of plant height, tiller number, and leaf greenness level. While the application of 10 grams/polybag NPK fertilizer (P1) gave the best result on the variable of shoot fresh weight, and panicle weight. Keywords: Rice Plant IR-42 Variety, NPK, Floating System
