INFEKSI Ganoderma boninense PADA BIBIT KELAPA SAWIT YANG TUMPANGSARI DENGAN TANAMAN GARUT ( Maranta arundinacea Linn.)
Ganoderma boninense is an disease basal stem rot that attack oil palm plants as of now difficult to control because pathogens can last long in the soil and symptoms appear after the disease has become severe. The purpose of this study was to know the effects of infection Ganoderma boninense on oil palm seeds intercropping with arrowroot. Experiments in greenhouse used pots planted with oil palm seedlings with Ganoderma boninense inoculum and/or arrowroot plants. the results of the study showed that arrowroot planting 6 months not for real affect infection Ganoderma boninense on oil palm seedlings and rubber wood weathering colonized by Ganoderma boninense. Arrowroot planting is not real which affects the weathering of rubber wood colonized by Ganoderma boninense. Intercropping with arrowroot can inhibit the growth of oil palm seedlings inoculated with Ganoderma boninense. Key word: Arrowroot, Ganoderma boninense, Oil palm
