PENGARUH SUHU EKSTRAKSI TERHADAP KANDUNGAN FITOKIMIA DAN AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN EKSTRAK TUMBUHAN Utricularia aurea
This study aimed to determine the effect of extraction temperature on Uticularia aurea extract on the yield, bioactive compounds and antioxidant activity. This research was conducted experimentally in the laboratory with 3 levels of extraction temperature (30°C, 45°C, and 60°C) and was replicated by 3 times. Parameters were measured in this study included yield extract, bioactive compounds (flavonoids, polyphenols and tannins) and antioxidant activity using the DPPH method. The values obtained are described in graphical form, and followed by ANOVA. If it has a significant effect, it will be continued with Duncan's further test. The yield of plant extracts of Uticularia aurea with extraction temperatures of 30°C, 45°C and 60°C obtained yields of 1.34%, 4.00% and 12.47%, respectively. The total polyphenol content in the extract with the extraction temperature treatment was 30°C (589.01 mg GAE/g dry sample), 45°C (612.75 mg GAE/g dry sample) and 60°C (904 mg GAE/g dry sample). The total flavonoid extract of the dry sample was 30°C (97.11 mg QE/g dry sample), 45 °C (117.56 mg QE/g dry sample), and 60 °C (600.04 mg QE/g dry sample). The mean values of the total tannin extract were 30 °C (11.65 mg TAE/g dry sample), 45 °C (24.59 mg TAE/g dry sample), and 60 °C (63.39 mg TAE/g dry sample). Antioxidant activity using the 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method resulted in IC50 values in Uticularia aurea plant extracts with extraction temperatures of 30 °C (0.147 mg/mL), 45 °C (0.145 mg/mL), and 60 °C (0.061 mg/mL). Variations in extraction temperature significantly affect the bioactive compounds in the Uticularia aurea extract.
