This study was carried out with the following objectives: 1) Identify the perceptions of local farmers and transmigrant farmers on the management of rice farming yields; 2) Identify the behavior of local farmers and transmigrant farmers in cultivating rice plants; 3) Analyze the differences in the income of local farmers and transmigrant farmers in Buay Pemuka Bangsa Raja District. This research was conducted from January to completion in Buay Pemuka Bangsa Raja District, East OKU Regency. The research location was chosen purposively or intentionally. This research was conducted using a survey method. The sampling method used in this study was purposive or intentional with the criteria that the sample farmers were farmers who did rice farming, local farmers were natives from Buay Pemuka Bangsa Raja District, and transmigrant farmers were residents who came from other areas and then settled in Buay District. Leaders of the King's Nation with 40 respondents. The data obtained in this study are primary data and secondary data. The results obtained in the field show that 1) Perceptions of local farmers and transmigrant farmers on the management of rice farming yields based on five indicators are good criteria with a total average score of 2,06 local farmers and a total average score of transmigrant farmers of 1,84, 2) The behavior of local farmers in cultivating rice plants is in the high criteria with an average total score of 2,36 while the behavior of transmigrant farmers in cultivating rice plants is in the medium criteria with an average total score of 2,31, 3) Based on the paired sample t-test, there is a significant difference between the income of local farmers and transmigrant farmers in Buay Pemuka Bangsa Raja sub-district.
