PENGARUH PEMBERIAN KAPUR DOLOMIT DAN PUPUK UREA TERHADAP PENAMBATAN KARBON PADA TANAMAN PADI (Oryza sativa L.) DI TANAH GAMBUT
The carbon contained in plant biomass is the result of propagation through the process of photosynthesis. The amount of carbon stored in biomass in a land varies depending on the age and type of plant, plant diversity and density, soil fertility, climatic conditions, altitude of place, and land management. The more appropriate the condition of the land to the plants on it, the higher the rate of photosynthesis and the higher its productivity in absorbing carbon. The results of this study are expected to be a learning medium about carbon patching systems in rice plants and know the types of treatments that affect the best carbon propagation in rice plants in peat soil, and are expected to be applied in the cultivation of rice plants in peat soils. This research was conducted at Rumah Kaca ATC, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, South Sumatra. The study was conducted in March - August 2020. The study used a complete factorial randomized design method (RALF) with two factors. The first factor is Dolomite Lime with 3 levels: D0 = 0 tons ha-1 (control), D1 = 10 tons ha-1 (25 g pot-1 dolomite), D2 = 15 tons ha-1 (37.5 g pot-1 dolomite). While the second factor is Urea Fertilizer with 3 levels, namely: U0 = 0 kg Urea ha-1 (control), U1 = 125 kg Urea ha-1 (0.78 g Urea pot-1 ), U2 = 250 kg Urea ha-1 (1.56 g Urea pot-1 ). Each treatment is repeated 3 times so that it gets 27 units of trial units. Each test unit is made in series 2 times. So the whole treatment is 54 pots. The results showed dolomite lime at a dose of 10 tons ha-1 can increase the high growth of rice plants compared to the treatment of dose control and dose of 15 tons ha-1 . Urea fertilizer at a dose of 250 kg ha-1 can increase carbon tethering in rice plants compared to control dose treatment and dose 125 kg ha-1 . The combination of dolomite lime treatment at a dose of 10 tons ha-1 and urea fertilizer at a dose of 125 kg ha-1 tends to increase carbon tethering in rice plants. The average value of the highest carbon tether is 42.78 g of plant-1 , and the yield of C ha-1 is 6.84 tons C ha-1.
