PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN SARI ( Averrhoa blmbi L ACIDIFIER ) KE DALAM AIR MINUM BELIMBING WULUH SEBAGAI TERHADAP KUALITAS FISIK DAGING AYAM KAMPUNG
This research was carried out for five months in the Experimental Cage of the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study used 100 chickens aged 1 day from PT. Ciomas Adisatwa, Segayam Village, Gelumbang District, Muara Enim Regency. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments consisted of P0 (control), P1 (drinking water + wuluh starfruit solution 4%), P2 (drinking water + wuluh starfruit solution 6%), P3 (drinking water + wuluh starfruit solution 8%) and P4 (drinking water + wuluh starfruit solution) star fruit wuluh 10%). The observed variables included pH, water holding capacity, cooking loss and tenderness. The results showed that the giving of starfruit solution up to 10% had no significant effect (P>0.5) on pH, water holding capacity, cooking loss and tenderness. . Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that giving a solution of starfruit up to 10% to local chickens has not been able to produce pH, water holding capacity, cooking loss and tenderness optimally.
