The purpose of this study was to describe the use of Alay language on Facebook among adolescents in Embawang Village, Tanjung Agung District in terms of changes in vowels and consonants and morphology and to explain the implications of this research on Indonesian language learning in junior high schools. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The source of the data in this study was obtained through social media Facebook which includes utterances uploaded by Facebook users (teenagers) who are friends with the researcher's Facebook. The data technology used is the listening method, then it is captured on the screen, then the speech is copied in the form of notes. The results of this study, which found seventy-one data on the use of Alay language in aspects of changes in vowels and consonants as well as morphology. Among them there are six data on changes in consonants, one data on changes in vowels, one data on changes in mixed letters, six data on letter combinations, six data on anaphyxia or addition of letters, eleven data on contractions or abbreviations, fifteen data on acronyms, four metathesis data, two data on diphthongization. or semivowels, nine prefix change data, three suffix change data, one confix change data, three reduplication data, and two shortening data. The implication of the results of this study on Indonesian language learning in junior high schools is that the Alay language used by teenagers on Facebook is an alternative that can add insight and interest in reading for students and teachers at school. So that this becomes a reference for teachers and students to apply good and correct Indonesian rules in the learning process.
