SISTEM PEMASARAN SAYURAN DARI DUSUN KERINJING KELURAHAN AGUNG LAWANGAN KECAMATAN DEMPO UTARA KOTA PAGARALAM KE PASAR INDUK JAKABARING PALEMBANG
The purpose of this research was identify and describe the vegetable marketing channel from Kerinjing Hamlet to the Jakabaring Central Market Palembang, to identify the marketing functions performed by the marketing agency from Kerinjing Hamlet to the Jakabaring Central Market Palembang, to analyze the efficiency of marketing channels vegetables from Kerinjing Hamlet to Jakabaring Central Market Palembang. Data collection at the research location in November 2021 in Kerinjing Hamlet, Agung Lawangan Village. The research method used is a survey method by conducting interviews with 35 samples of vegetable farmers who cultivate large chili, cabbage and chicory vegetables and using the snowball sampling method for marketing institutions. The marketing agencies interviewed were selected based on the marketing flow of vegetables involved in marketing vegetables from the Kerinjing Hamlet to the Jakabaring Main Market, Palembang. The data taken in this study include primary data and secondary data. The results showed that 1.) In particular, the marketing channel for vegetables with commodities of large chili, cabbage/cabbage and chicory from Kerinjing Hamlet to Jakabaring Main Market Palembang there is only one marketing channel pattern, namely farmers - collectors - wholesalers - retailers - consumers. And in every sales transaction, the market power lies with the wholesaler as the price maker. 2.) The marketing function carried out at the farmer level is the exchange function including the sales function, the physical function includes the transportation function and the marketing function, and the farmer facilities function performs the standardization function and the financing function. At the collector trader level the exchange functions carried out include ; purchase function and sales function, on the physical function which includes the transportation function, storage function and marketing function, on the facility function which includes market information, standardization and financing functions. Meanwhile, for wholesalers, the exchange functions carried out include; purchasing function and sales function, on the physical function which includes marketing and on the facility function which includes market information, standardization and financing functions 3. Although the market structure tends to be monopsony because market power is stronger in wholesalers, marketing of large chili, cabbage/ Cabbage and chicory from Kerinjing Hamlet to Jakabaring Main Market Palembang were declared efficient based on marketing margin, profit margin and farmer's share. The value of marketing efficiency in each marketing agency is < 50 percent, which means that the marketing channel is efficient.
