ABSTRACT: This research is research and development (R&D) which aims to describe the quality and find out the results of the feasibility of storybook media with pictures of geographical material in South Sumatra in class V. The development model used is a 4D model with 4 stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Based on the results of the media and material validation that has been carried out on the picture storybook media, geographical material in South Sumatra in class V, which was assessed by a media expert validator, got a percentage value of 90.9% in the "Valid" category. Meanwhile, on material validation by material expert validators, the percentage value of 98% is in the "Valid" category. The response of students to the picture story book media in the trial got a percentage of 94.4% with the "Very Appropriate" criteria, while the teacher's response in the trial to the picture story book media obtained a percentage of 90.4% with the "Very Eligible" criteria. Thus, the picture story book media product for the geographical material of South Sumatra is "Very Appropriate" to be used by teachers and students in learning activities in the classroom
