PENGARUH PUPUK KOTORAN SAPI DAN DOLOMIT TERHADAP pH, NPK TANAH SERTA PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN SORGUM (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) PADA TANAH PASANG SURUT
Sorgum plant is a food substitute plant other than rice which has the main energy for food in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of organic cow manure and dolomite on pH, NPK soil also the growth and production of sorghum plant in tidal lowland. This research was conducted at the Greenhouse and Laboratory of Chemistry, Biology, and Soil Fertility, Department of Soil, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This research was conducted from June to September 2021. This study used a completely randomized factorial design, which consisted of 8 treatments consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is organic cow manure, which consists of 4 levels, namely S0 (0 ton ha-1 ), S1 (5 ton ha-1 ), S2 (10 ton ha-1 ), and S3 (15 ton ha-1 ). The second factor is dolomite with 2 levels, namely K1 (0 ton ha-1 ) and K2 (0,404 ton ha-1 ). Each combination treatment was repeated 3 times so the total number of treatments was 24 experimental units. The results showed that the treatment of organic cow manure had a significant effect on soil N-total, had very significant effect on soil P, K-available and there was no significant effect on pH and growth also production of sorghum plants while dolomite treatment had no significant effect on pH H2O soil N,P,K, and growth also production of sorghum plants. And there was a significant interaction between the treatment of organic cow manure with dolomite on P-available soil and no significant effect on pH, N-total, soil K and growth also production of sorghum plants.
