ANALISIS KESULITAN PEMBELAJARAN SISWA ERA COVID-19 DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL CERITA OPERASI HITUNG BILANGAN PECAHAN CAMPURAN DI KELAS V SD MUHAMMADIYAH SAPEN NGADIWINATAN YOGYAKARTA
This study aims to describe student's difficulties in solving mixed fraction arithmetic operations story problems and the factors that cause these difficulties. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research with descriptive method. The data from this study were obtained through written tests to class V A students at SD Muhammadiyah Sapen Ngadiwinatan Yogyakarta in the form of description questions in the form of stories and interviews with class V A teachers and 5 students in class V A. The results showed that (96,9%) students had difficulty understanding the problem of story questions, (53%) students have difficulty planning problem solving, (67,3%) students have difficulty implementing plans, and (75,6%) students have difficulty checking back. The factors that cause student's difficulties in solving mixed fraction arithmetic operations story problems, namely 1) the low interest of students in solving mixed fraction arithmetic operations stories with a percentage of 82%, 2) the level of student intelligence that causes students to not complete story problems. arithmetic operations of mixed fractions with a percentage of 86%, 3) low student motivation in learning mathematics, the material for arithmetic operations with a percentage of 77%, 4) negative attitudes of students towards learning mathematics with a percentage of 60%, 5) the learning methods used teachers are less varied and not adapted to the characteristics of students with a percentage of 43%, 6) the standard questions tested by researchers on students are more difficult (HOTS) compared to the questions given by the teacher during mathematics learning the material for arithmetic operations with fractions with a percentage of 89%, and 7) the Covid-19 pandemic which causes learning cannot be carried out optimally so that student learning success is low with a percentage of 75%.
