ANALISIS PERILAKU KONSUMTIF MAHASISWA DITINJAU DARI KONTROL DIRI DALAM PENGGUNAAN MARKETPLACE
In today's rapidly developing era of globalization, the technology used is also increasingly complex. This study aims to determine the description of student consumptive behavior in terms of self-control in the use of the marketplace by using quantitative descriptive methods. The population in this study were 261 respondents with sampling using the Random Sampling technique with a total of 158 respondents. The sample involved in this study were Guidance and Counseling Students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University. The instrument used for data collection uses a consumptive behavior instrument with a Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out using the percentage formula for consumptive behavior data. The results obtained in this study are (1) most of the students have Consumptive Behavior in terms of Self-Control in Marketplace Use are in the Medium (S) to High (T) Consumptive Behavior category as many as 111 respondents with a total percentage of 85% with the category Medium (S) 52%, High (T) 25%, Very High (ST) 8% and the other 15% are categorized as Low Consumptive Behavior (R) with a percentage of 13%, Very Low (SR) 2%. (2) The high level of consumptive behavior and low self-control in using the marketplace is dominated by students from the Palembang class, which is influenced by the high aspect of impulse buying and the low aspect of controlling decisions.
