PENGEMBANGAN INSTRUMEN THREE-TIER DIAGNOSTIC TEST UNTUK MENDETEKSI MISKONSEPSI PESERTA DIDIK PADA SIKLUS BIOGEOKIMIA SMA DI KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ULU.
Students’s understanding of less precise and different from the concept scientists can lead to misconception. The purpose of this research is knowing the validity and reliability of the instrument used to identify misconceptions of biogeochemical cycle and knowing the misconception profile student of high school in Ogan Komering Ulu. Method in this research is Treagust development method which includes defining the content, then obtaining information about students misconceptions, and developing a three tier diagnostic test based on information of students misconception. The material developed based on Campbell. The three tier diagnostic test instrument is made in the form multiple choice with reasons completed and CRI. Data analysis techniques was carried out by analyzing qualitative and quantitative. The validation instrument uses CVR by five expert and gets a value of 1, which means the three tier diagnostic test instrument has been valid and relevant. Then the instrument trial for reliability using KR-20. From the test results obtained misconceptions of each sub-material of the biogeochemical cycle there are 34,45% water cycle misconception, 31,23% carbon and oxygen cycle misconception, 31,45% nitrogen cycle misconception, 50,65% sulfur cycle misconception, and 29,70% phosphorus cycle misconception
