PENGARUH PEMBERIAN JAMU HERBAL FERMENTASI DALAM AIR MINUM TERHADAP BOBOT RELATIF SALURAN PENCERNAAN AYAM BROILER
This study aims to determine the administration of fermented herbs in drinking water on the relative weight of the digestive tract of broiler chicken. This research was conducted for 35 days at the Experimental Cage Laboratory of the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Department of Animal Technology and Industry, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The livestock used in this study were 60 Broiler Chickens and 0-1 days of age. The feed used is commercial from PT Charoen Pokphan Indonesia. The research design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications. As a unit of variable: P0 ( control or without giving fermented herbal medicine), P1 (7,5 ml/liter of fermented herbal medicine in drinking water), P2 (10 ml/liter of fermented herbal medicine in drinking water), P3 (12,5 ml/liter of fermented herbal medicine in drinking water). Variables observed were the relative weight of the cache, the relative weight of the gizzard, the relative weight of the small intestine, and the relative weight of the cecum. The data were analyzed using variance (ANOVA) and if there was a significant difference, it would be continued with Duncan's test. The results of this study indicate that the administration of fermented herbal in drinking water had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the relative weight of the digestive tract of Broiler chicken. The conclusion of this study was that the administration of fermented herbal in drinking water had not been able to increase the relative weight of the digestive tract of Broiler chicken.
