ANALISIS MINAT MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA ANGKATAN TAHUN 2017 UNTUK MENGIKUTI PROGRAM PENDIDIKAN PROFESI GURU (PPG).
This resaerch aims to describe interest of Student Economic Education Study Program class of 2017 FKIP Sriwijaya University in following Teacher’s Professional Education. This researh is qualitative descriptive research. The population in this study was all Student of Economi Education class of 2017 from Indralaya and Palembang class which amounted to 73 students. Sampling uses the Non random sampling technique, which is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and interview. Data analysis techniques are performed by data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. Student interest in following Teacher’s Professional Education are measured through 3 indicators, namely: cognition indicator (knowing) consisting of need for information and curiosity, emotional indicatorconsisting of feeling of happy, support from around, interested, and having attention, and conation indicator (action) consisting of will, motivation, and action. The result of the study obtained an overview of Student Economic Education Study Program class of 2017 FKIP Sriwijaya University in following Teacher’s Professional Education which is categorized as sufficient with an average percentage of 72%. Student interest in following Teacher’s Professional Education in cognition indicator are categorized as sufficent (72.5%), in emotional indicator are categorized as sufficent (70.9%) and in conation indicator are categorized as sufficent (72.4%). From the overall based on aspect of indicators obtained an average score of 72% categorized sufficiently (60% - 75%).
