PENGARUH JARAK SEMPROT DAN KETEBALAN LAPISAN TERHADAP KETAHANAN KOROSI HASIL COATING SPRAY GUN ELEKTRIK PADA BAJA KARBON RENDAH
This study aims to determine the effect of spray distance and coating thickness on corrosion resistance of electric spray gun coatings on low carbon steel. This research was conducted at the Mechanical Engineering Education Laboratory, Sriwijaya University. The object of this research is the corrosion resistance of the specimen with the provisions of the spray distance of 5 cm, 10 cm and 15 cm with a thickness of 2 layers and 3 layers, respectively. This study uses an experimental method with manual calculations where researchers make observations, collect data and see the corrosion resistance that occurs in the specimen. The results showed that a good spray distance is 10 cm and a good layer thickness is 3 layers because it has the least layer of erosion.
