TINGKAT STRES AKADEMIK PADA SISWA YANG BERMAIN GAME ONLINE KELAS XI IPS DI SMA NEGERI 4 MUARA ENIM
This research is a study that uses a quantitative research approach with a descriptive method. Which has the purpose of knowing the level of academic stress in students who play online games at SMA Negeri 4 Muara Enim. The data collection technique uses a likert scale. The population in this study was 82 students with sampling using the "purposive sampling" technique, which was indicated to have a high level of addiction to playing games, namely by the number of 62 students, The results of the study showed that the level of academic stress in students who played online games with a high category was 19.35% the number of students was 12 people, the medium category was 64.51% with the number of students 40 people, and a low 16.12% with the number of students 10 people. Based on the aspects studied , (1) psychological aspects with the highest percentage results, namely 69.35% in the moderate category with a total of 43 students. (2) physiological aspects with the highest percentage results, namely 64.51% in the moderate category with 40 students. (3) cognitive aspects with the highest percentage results, namely 62.90% in the moderate category with 39 students (4) behavioral aspects with the highest percentage results, namely 69.35%, in the medium category with 43 students. So it can be seen that the average student tends to experience a moderate level of stress as a result of playing online games.
