Every human being from birth already has need. Various efforts will be made to meet these needs so that this makes humans involved in economic activities. In order for these needs to be met, humans are required to work. People who work or have a livelihood will earn income. A person's economic condition can be measured using the concept of income. Income level is the main factor that determines the consumption of a person or household including the quality of goods and food consumed. The purpose of this study is (1) calculating the average and variation of household income of residents of Air Satan Village, Muara Beliti District, Musi Rawas Regency, (2) analyzing consumption expenditures and the value of household food consumption in Air Satan Village, Muara Beliti District, Musi Rawas Regency, (3) analyzing the influence of household income, income group, education of the head of household, number of household members, and livelihoods towards household food consumption in Air Satan Village, Muara Beliti District, Musi Rawas Regency. Data collection activities were carried out in September 2021 in Air Satan Village, Muara Beliti District, Musi Rawas Regency. Research methods in the form of quantitative approaches. The data collection method used in this study is a survey method by using questionnaires as a tool to get information. The meotode used in the sample draw in this study is Probability Sampling with a Disproportionate Stratified Random Sampling sample design. The results showed that (1) The average household income in Desa Air Satan amounted to Rp1.280.000/month in low-income households, Rp2.620.000/month in households in moderate income, and Rp5.880.000/month in households with high income, (2) household expenditure on food consumption is directly proportional to the income received, the least expenditure is carried out by the low income group, and most by high income groups, (3) Based on the results of the T Test, household members and dummy moderate income has a significant effect on household food consumption, with significance < 0.05 and the education of the head of the household is the only variable that has a negative effect.
