PENGARUH WAKTU INKUBASI TERHADAP PROPORSI SPERMATOZOA PEMBAWA KROMOSOM X-Y HASIL SEXING METODE KOLOM BSA (bovine serum albumin) SAPI SIMMENTAL
This study determined the effect of incubation time on proportion of spermatozoa X-Y chromosome sexing result BSA (bovine serum albumin) column method of Simmental. This research lasted for one month in the Artificial Insemination Hall Sembawa Banyuasin Sumatera Selatan and Reproduction and Health Livestock Laboratory. An experimental study with Randomized Design was done used semen of Simmenal. The study use 3 treatments and 4 replications consisting of 30, 45 and 60 minute incubation times. The variables observed were proportion of spermatozoa X and Y chromosome of Simmental. Data was analyzed with ANOVA and Duncan test 5%. The result of this study indicated that sexing incubation time using the BSA (bovine serum albumin) column method has no effect proportion of live spermatozoa X and Y chromosome of Simmental. The conclusion of this study is separation using the BSA (bovine serum albumin) method with incubation time which did not significantly (P>0,05) affect the proportion of spermatozoa X and Y caused by damage and death of spermatozoa in the incubation and centrifugation.
