Endometrial cancer is the third most gynecological cancer in Indonesia. In 2005, endometrial cancer is the fourth most gynecologic cancer observed at Obstetrics Gynecology Department of Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang. This study is aimed to determine the prevalence of endometrial carcinoma at the Laboratory Pathology Anatomy, Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang. Method: This study used a descriptive observational method. The data was collected from medical records at the Anatomical Pathology Department of Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang in the period of2008-2012. Results: The prevalence of endometrial carcinoma at Anatomical Pathology Laboratory of Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang from 2008-2012 were 0.40%. During the observation period, the highest prevalence of Endometrial Carcinoma was in 2011 with 0,57%. The incidences of endometrial carcinoma of endometrioid type from 2008 until 2012 were as many as 104 cases or a total of 92.04%. While the non- endometrioid type of endometrial carcinoma were 9 cases or 7.96%. The most group of women ’s age with endometrial carcinoma was 51-60years or as much as 42.47%. Conclusion: In the period 2008 to 2012 the prevalence of endometrial carcinoma were 0,40%. During the observation period, the incindence of endometrioid type endometrial carcinoma shows a high rate of percentage.
