EFEKTIVITAS HERBAL FERMENTASI KE DALAM AIR MINUM TERHADAP ORGAN DALAM AYAM KAMPUNG UNGGUL
The cultivation of native chickens in general still depends on factory feed which contains a lots of antibiotics. Another alternative to replace the role of antibiotics for poultry which can pose a risk to humans by using herbs selected based on the role of these herbs. This study aims to study the effectiveness of using fermented herbs used in different time frames on the consumption of drinking water and internal organs in Kampung Unggul Balitnak chickens. The research design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments. The treatments in this study consisted of A0 = control (without herbal supplementation), A1 = herbal supplementation used for 1 week, A2 = herbal supplementation used for 2 weeks, A3 = herbal supplementation used for 3 weeks, A4 = herbal supplementation used for 2 weeks. used for 4 weeks. Each treatment was repeated 4 times. The variables observed included drinking water consumption, heart disease, and small intestine length of native chickens. The results of this study indicate that the administration of fermented herbs with the use of different stones was not significantly different (P> 0.05) on drinking water consumption and liver weight, while the length of the small intestine was significantly different (P
