ANALISIS PENDAPATAN USAHATANI POLA ROTASI TANAMAN PADI-JAGUNG PADA LAHAN PASANG SURUT DI DESA MULYASARI KECAMATAN TANJUNG LAGO KABUPATEN BANYUASIN
Farming is a place where a person or group of people try to manage the elements of production such as nature, labor, and others with the aim of producing and generating income on agricultural land. The main factors that affect farm income are seed costs, fertilizer costs, labor costs, land area and duration of farming. The aims of this study were: (1) To find out the farming pattern of rice-corn crop rotation in Mulyasari Village. (2) To Know the farm income of paddy-corn crop rotation pattern in Mulyasari Village. (3). To know what factors affect the income of paddy-corn crop rotation pattern farming in Mulyasari Village. The location of research is Mulyasari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency. The sampling method used in sampling farmers by using Disproportionate stratified random sampling,30 samples were taken. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Paddy-corn crop rotation pattern farming in Mulyasari Village is carried out in 2 crop rotations namely rice and corn, while the management of rice-corn crop rotation pattern farming is starting from determining varieties and seeds, land preparation, planting, fertilization, care, harvesting, post-harvest handling, and marketing. (2) The results of the research on the average number of farm incomes with the rotation pattern of rice-corn crops obtained the results of Rp. 32,244,600/year with an efficiency value of 4.24. (3) The factors that have a significant effect are labor costs and land area, while the factors that do not have a significant effect on income are the length of farming, the cost of seeds and the cost of fertilizer. As for the variable or factor that has the most dominant influence on farm income, the crop rotation pattern of rice-corn in Mulyasari Village, is land area.
