STUDI PEMBERIAN PUPUK N DAN K TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL PADI (Oryza sativa L.) VARIETAS IR-42 PADA BUDIDAYA SECARA TERAPUNG
The aim of the research was to identify and study the growth and yield characteristics of rice plants with respect to various concentrations of N and K fertilizers cultivated with a floating farming system. The research was carried out at Embung, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra from August to December 2021. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 8 treatments, each treatment contained 3 plants and had 3 replications, so that the total number of plants were 72 plants. The seeds used were rice from IR-42 variety. Treatment doses of N and K fertilizers consisted of P1 = 0.34 g N and 0.45 g K/plant, P2 = 0.34 g N and 0.90 g K/plant, P3= 0.68 g N and 0, 45 g K/plant, P4 = 0.68 g N and 0.90 g K/plant, P5 = 1.02 g N and 0.45 g K/plant, P6 = 1.02 g N and 0.90 g K/plant, P7 = 1.36 g N and 0.45 g K/plant, P8= 1.36 g N and 0.90 g K/plant. Parameters observed included plant height, leaf greenness, days to harvest, number of tillers per hill, number of panicles per hill, panicle length, number per hill of grains, weight per hill grains, weight of 100 grains, percentage of empty grain. The results of the study showed that the application of N and K fertilizers in the P4 treatment (0.68 g N and 0.90 g K/plant) or 245 kg ha -1 N and 324 kg ha -1 K was able to give the best results on the parameters of panicle length, grain weight, and 100 grain weight.
