The purposes of this research are: 1) to describe the implementation of agricultural extension using information technology in Mulia Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency; 2) to measure farmers' perceptions on the implementation of agricultural extension using information technology in Mulia Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency; 3) to analyze the difference in income between farmers who use information technology and those who do not use information technology in Mulia Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency. Data collection was carried out in March 2020. The research method used in this study was a survey method. The data collected were primary and secondary data. The sampling method used in this study was a disproportioned stratified random sampling based on the use of information technology such as smartphones in farming, namely farmers who used information technology and farmers who did not use information technology. From the number of corn farmers in Mulia Sari Village as many as 865 farmers, 60 farmers were sampled, namely 30 farmers who used information technology and 30 farmers who did not use information technology.The data processing method used in this study was descriptive analysis and T-Test. The results showed that the implementation of agricultural extension in Mulia Sari Village was considered quite well, the extension worker invited the farmers to change their mindset to become modern farmers who are opened to new information about agriculture. The perception of farmers in the implementation of agricultural extension using information technology was measured using five indicators, namely relative advantage, level of suitability, complexity of easy to see results, and knowledge. The income of farmers who used information technology is Rp19,873,684.18 per area per season and the income of farmers who did not use information technology was Rp18,565,253.33 per area per season with a percentage difference of 6.58 percent. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the income of farmers who used information technology and farmers who did not use information technology.
