Research has been conducted on the manufacture of carbon curcumber pulp (Curcumis lativus L.) and its application as an electrochemical double-layer capacitors. This study aims to electrochemically product carbon from curcumber pulp (DTS) with variations in the type of electrolyte concentration NaNO3 (sodium nitrate). Carbon DTS was made by the carbonization process for 16 hours and mircowave dipyrolysis for 25 minutes. (DTS) carbon pore characterization results in a pore surface area of 821,532 m2g-1, pore volume of 55.227,3 cm3g-1, total pore volume of 97 cm3g-1, and conductivity value of 2,42 × 10-6 S.cm-1. Carbon was charactherized using XRD, SEM-EDX, and FTIR. The SEM-XRD diffractogram result showed that the peak highest at 2θ=28,37° graphite crystal structure is formed. SEM-EDX result showed that the morphology of DTS carbon has a mcroporous at 20 μm is amorphous crystalline. The FTIR spectrum pattern had a carbonyl group at 1680 cm-1. The highest cyclic voltammetry (CV) measurement results in NaNO3 electrolytes, 1 M used carbon:graphite (3:7) comparison electrodes with power value 0,94 mW, energy reaching 19,14 mW.h and a capacitance value at scanrate of 50 mW of 9,4 F. The result of the galvanostatic measurement of charging-discharging the best stability result of electrolyzed DTS carbon using NaNO3 with a concentration of 1 M with ratio of carbon:graphite (3:7).
