PEMBUATAN BIOBRIKET DARI LIMBAH SEKAM PADI DENGAN VARIASI WAKTU DAN TEMPERATUR KARBONISASI MENGGUNAKAN CAMPURAN KULIT PISANG RAJA DAN TAPIOKA SEBAGAI PEREKAT
Biobriquettes have been made from renewable energy, namely biomass of rice husk, to be able for energy requirement. Rice husk contains a chemical composition of cellulose 31.12%, lignin 22.34% and hemicellulose 21.48%. Rice husk were carbonized based on time of 30, 60 and 90 minutes with variations of 400,500 and 600⁰C. The rice husk are then ground and sieved. The composition of rice husk biobriquettes, 80 g rice husk charcoal, 30 g tapioca and 20 g plantain peels then production. Analysis characteristics of biobriquttes, among others, analysis of moisture, ash, volatile matter, carbon content and calorific value. The best treatment was obtained at a variation of carbonation time of 90 minutes and 600℃. That is to produce a moisture content of 2.86%, ash content 46.59%, volatile matter 37.06%, carbon content 13.47%, and caloric value 9463.27%. Based on the characteristics of the rice husk biobriquettes, it can be seen that the water content and calorific value have met SNI 01-6235-2000. The result of the ANOVA analysis at 600℃ showed that the significant difference real at water content and ash content.
