UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN AKAR, BATANG DAN DAUN MANGROVE Bruguiera gymnorrhiza MENGGUNAKAN METODE DPPH DI PESISIR BANYUASIN, SUMATERA SELATAN
Mangrove is an ecosystem that has a reciprocal relationship between living things and their environment. Mangroves have various functions such as ecological, biological and economic functions. In addition to these functions, mangroves also have potential as a source of bioactive compounds. One of the compounds produced by mangroves is antibacterial, anticancer and antioxidant compounds. Antioxidants are compounds that are needed by humans. Lindur plant (B. gymnorrhiza) is one of the mangrove plants that has the potential as a source of bioactive compounds for antioxidants and -glucosidase inhibitors. Sample testing using the DPPH method. This study aimed to analyze the potential antioxidant activity of extracts of roots, stems and leaves of mangrove B.gymnorrhiza. The test results showed a strong potential in the roots with a value of 54 ppm and 88 ppm in the stem, on the leaves the potential for antioxidant activity was moderate with a value of 123 ppm.
