Tangkil Island is one of the small islands located in Lampung Bay region and is a maritime tourism destination in Lampung Province. Information related to the status of water quality in the tourism area becomes one of the important parts in tourism activities. Research related to the water quality conditions in Tangkil Island is needed, considering the lack of information related to the water quality in this region. This research was conducted in November 2020 aimed to analyze the content of heavy metals Pb and Cu in water and sediment in the waters of Tangkil Island then conducted a comparison of results with some quality standards to know the status of the initial environmental hue of Tangkil Island Waters. Sample ananlysis was conducted using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) method and obtained the results of the average concentration of heavy metal Pb in water samples ranging from 0 to 0.0119 mg/L. This result is still below the quality standard value (0.05 mg/L). The same is true of sediment samples that do not contain heavy metals either Pb or Cu
