ANALISIS KARAKTERISTIK ARUS LAUT DI PELABUHAN BAKAUHENI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PEMODELAN NUMERIK MIKE 21
Bakauheni Port is a port that operates intensively. This is inseparable from the condition of the waters around the port of Bakauheni, the focus of this study is on the pattern of ocean currents. To see the current pattern in bakauheni port used numerical modeling software MIKE 21 FM. Validation data in this study consists of tidal and tidal data and ocean current data on May 26, 2019 – June 23, 2019. The RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) value for tidal validation is 5.8% and the RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) value for sea current validation is 22.9%. The results of the model in this study consists of 4 seasons, namely: Western Season (January); Transition Season I (April); Eastern Season (July); Transition Season II (October). The simulation results of each season's model obtained the highest sea current speed value in the eastern season (July) of 0.111 m/s and the lowest sea current speed value in the second transition season (October) of 0.001 m/s. The direction of the ocean currents at the time of heading to high tide moves towards the southwest (Indian Ocean), while at low tide it moves towards the northeast (Java Sea)
