ANALISIS COMPUTER FLUID DINAMIC (CFD) NANOBUBBLE UNTUK KINERJA PENDINGIN DARURAT PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA NUKLIR (PLTN) NUSCALE DENGAN TIPE PRESSURIZED WATER REACTOR (PWR)
The development of large power plants in Indonesia is constrained due to the development of large enough development, but nuScale small power plant is one of the alternatives that can be implemented in Indonesia because of small capital costs, unit construction is easily adjusted to the needs and already uses a passive error system and natural circulation. In addition, the accident factor is very calculated both large power nuclear power and small power plant. The Fukushima Daichii nuclear reactor accident makes a new and important lesson in all nuclear reactor safety designs. The safety aspect of the design of a nuclear reactor becomes an absolute requirement that must be considered. One of the steps to overcome this was the analysis of Computer Fluid Dinamic (CFD) nanobubble for the emergency cooling performance of NuScale Nuclear Power Plant with the type pressurized water reactor (PWR) where in this study used a geometric model of 3 variations in altitude. From the 3 models of altitude variations designed can be that the higher the geometry of the pipe used for emergency cooling of the reactor, the greater the speed and rate of water flow to carry out the cooling process. From 3 geometry heights of 74 cm, 222 cm and 370 cm found that geometry with a height of 360 cm is better in heat transfer and can also show that the use of nanobubble is very good used as a cooling medium. Through simulations, the results of the speed and flow rate showed that nanobubble in the water has the speed to cool the water faster than ordinary water.
