PENERAPAN REGRESI DUMMY UNTUK MENGANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRESTASI AKADEMIK MAHASISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN MASA PANDEMI
The purpose of this study was to examine the significance of the factors that affect student academic achievement and to obtain a dummy regression model of student academic achievement in pre-pandemic learning and pandemic learning. The population in this study were FMIPA Sriwijaya University students form 2016-2019 academic year, with 320 respondents as sample. The research method used is a quantitative method. The factors observed were the length of time studying, the number of credits, the number of internet quotas and two other dummy variables, namely the stability of internet connection and learning styles. The analytical tool used is the average two t test, χ^2 test and dummy regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that each of the observed factors provides a significant difference between learning before the pandemic and learning during the pandemic. The results of the dummy regression in the pre-pandemic period were the simultaneous influence of these factors on student academic achievement, while in the partial test only one factor significantly affected academic achievement, namely the number of student credits. The result of the dummy regression during the pandemic is that there is no effect on these factors simultaneously on student academic achievement, while in the partial test there is also no significant factor on student academic achievement. This means that the two dummy variables observed had no significant influence on student academic achievement.
