SEBARAN ZONA POTENSI PENANGKAPAN IKAN MENGGUNAKAN CITRA SATELIT AQUA MODIS DI WILAYAH PENGELOLAAN PERIKANAN NEGARA REPUBLIK INDONESIA 711 (WPPNRI 711) BAGIAN UTARA
The State Fisheries Management Area of the Republic of Indonesia 711 (WPPNRI 711) is a water that has abundant natural resources including oil and gas wealth and fish barns. Based on Kepmen KP No. 50 of 2017 WPPNRI 711 has fishery potential of 767,126 tons with a utilization rate of 10.66%. The lack of utilization is because local fishermen still use conventional methods, in optimizing fishermen's catches, it is necessary to conduct research using remote sensing methods. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of chlorophyll-a concentration and sea surface temperature to the distribution of Fishing Potential Zone (ZPPI) in wppnri 711 north. This study was conducted using Aqua-MODIS imagery data in 2018, 2019, 2020 at WPPNRI 711 north. Chlorophyll-a and SPL data are visualized in seasonal data i.e. western season, I transition, east and transition II. The results showed that the average concentration of chlorophyll-a is high in the western season and the lowest occurs in transition season I. High SPL averages occur in the eastern season and the lowest in the western season. High ZPPI points occurred in the western season as much as 54.11% and the lowest occurred in the eastern season as much as 4.23 %. ZPPI points are closely related to chlorophyll-a and SPL values, where if the chlorophyll-a value is high and the SPL value is low then the ZPPI point is high.
