Raw materials are very important in the production process so they must be used optimally. The main problem in the field of production is the remaining cuts that do not match the demand, causing losses for the company. This study discusses the problem of simplification of constraints on the Column Generation model using preprocessing techniques. The importance of doing this preprocessing technique is to make it easier to find the optimal value of a complicated Column Generation model so it is necessary to simplify the constraints. The constraints obtained after using the preprocessing technique are simpler than before the preprocessing technique. This also affects the solution obtained, to be more optimal, before the application of the preprocessing technique is 0.34 and after the application of the technique is 0.22. completion of the Column Generation model using simplified preprocessing techniques with the help of LINGO 13.0 software so as to produce a model that is simpler and more efficient in its completion.
