PENGKAYAAN Daphnia magna DENGAN Azolla microphylla TERHADAP SINTASAN DAN PERTUMBUHAN LARVA IKAN TAMBAKAN (Helostoma temminckii)
Kissing Gourami (Helostoma temminckii) is one of the freshwater fish species that are commonly found in Sumatra, Java, and Kalimantan. One type of natural fish food that can be given to fish larvae is Daphnia magna. Azolla microphylla can be used as an enrichment as one of the sources of fatty acids. This study aims to determine the need for Azolla microphylla by Kissing Gourami larvae given through enrichment of Daphnia magna. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments (T) with 3 replications. The treatment consists of dose of Azolla microphylla are without enrichment (P1), enrichment with 2 ml L-1 Azolla microphylla, enrichment with 4 ml L-1 Azolla microphylla, enrichment with 6 ml L-1 Azolla microphylla, and enrichment with 8 ml L-1 Azolla microphylla. Parameters observed were feed predation rate, growth, biomass increase, survival rate and water quality (temperature, pH, DO and ammonia). The results showed that P4 was the best result with length of 8.75±0.30 mm, weight of 20.76±1.92 mg, biomass increase of 1389.93±144.19 mg, survival rate 90.2±1.54 % and feed predation rate of 76.42±013 %. The maintenance water quality measured during the study was the temperature ranged from 26.9-28.4oC, pH ranged from 5.6-7.2 dissolved oxygen ranged from 3.1-5.6 mg L-1 and ammonia ranged from 0.002-0.058 mg L-1
