Background: Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease that marked by the damage of cells and organs because of the bonding between tissues and autoantibody and immune complexes. The aim of SLE treatment is to increase survival rate and quality of patients. SLE has many clinical manifestations so it is hard to diagnose SLE patient. Mcthod: This was a descriptive observational study with a medical record approach that is cross-sectional. The research samples are Systemic Lupus Erythematosus patient in Allergy Immunology Division of Internal Medicine Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang from November 2010 -November 2012. The samples are collected proportionally. The variables in this study were age, gender, clinical manifestations, haematological manifestations, kidney manifestations and serological manifestation. The collected data will be presented in a tabular and its description. Results: A total of 60 patients were determined as samples of SLE patients under the age 21-29 years (31,7%) and women totalled more than men (95%). The most common clinical manifestation is arthritis with 91,7%, haematological manifestation is anemia with 85%, kidney manifestation ofproteinuria (+++) from 3 samples (7,1%) and cellular cast from 17 samples (39,5%) and serological manifestation with 8 of 9 positive ANA (88,8%) and 6 of 8 positive Anti ds-DNA (75%). Conclusion: It can be concluded that SLE patients are women under the age of 21-29 years with clinical manifestation is arthritis, the incidence of SLE from November 2010 until November 2012 at RSMH Palembang is 13,9% and organ target that are common to be attacked are musculoskeletal, bone marrow, mouth and kidney.
