PENGARUH VARIASI LEBAR REFLEKTOR TUNGGAL CERMIN DATAR TERHADAP KINERJA PANEL SURYA TIPE POLIKRISTAL
The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of polycrystalline solar panels with the addition of a reflector in the form of a flat mirror with various reflector widths at an angle of 70°. In this study, a reflector in the form of a flat mirror with variations in width of 30 cm, 35 cm, and 40 cm was used which was applied at an angle of 70°. This study uses two polycrystalline solar panels, one of which uses a reflector width variation of 30 cm, 35 cm, and 40 cm. The research consisted of three phases: preparation and assembly of polycrystalline silicon solar panels circuit along with reflector; circuit testing; accumulation and tabulation of data. The results showed that solar panels with the addition of a reflector produced better performance (power and efficiency) than without a reflector. The highest power that can be produced by solar panels using reflectors is 35 cm wide on the tenth day of 44.38 watt while on the same day solar panels without reflectors produce 35.52 watt of power with an intensity of 767.09 W/m2. The highest efficiency value that can be produced by solar panels using reflectors is 35 cm wide on the fifth day of 24.16% while on the same day solar panels without reflectors produce an efficiency of 16.05% with sunlight intensity of 383.15 W/m2.
