UJI KINERJA MESIN PENEPUNG FOMAC TYPE FCT-Z300 DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN SUMBER ENERGI LISTRIK DC DAN PLN UNTUK PEMBUATAN TEPUNG BERAS
The research objective was to determine the performance of Fomac type FCT-Z300 using a direct current (DC) and AC electric energy source in the manufacture of rice flour. The method use was descriptive with the treatment factor, namely the time test of the flour machine. The flouring time test consisted of three treatment levels, namely with a time of 30 seconds, 60 seconds and 90 seconds. Each time treatment uses two electricity power sources, namely direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC). The results showed that the flouring capacity was inversely proportional to the flouring time, the highest flouring capacity was 35.92 kg/hour and the lowest was 11.86 kg/hour. The highest yield percentage occurred in the first experiment on direct current, which was 99.78% and the lowest yield occurred in the third experiment with alternating current, which was 98.80%. The efficiency of the flouring machine is 0.96 PF or 96% so that the Fomac type Z300 is very efficient to use. The average material that passes the sieve is 78.81 g of 300 g of material or has a percentage of 26.27%. The longer the operating time of the sieve, the greater the percentage of sieve passing and the shorter the operating time of the sieve, the smaller the percentage of sieve passing.
