Ultisol is an infertile soil characterized by low soil fertility, high soil acidity. Ultisol have cation exchange capacity (CEC), base saturation (KB), high aluminum content (Al saturation), low organic C content, high phosphorus (P) fixation, Fe and Mn content close to the criteria for poisoning plants and are very sensitive to erosion. In order to increase the productivity of red chilies grown on Ultisol, several alternatives are needed so that plants can grow optimally, such as the addition of biological fertilizers and the application of inorganic fertilizers. The research was carried out from July to December 2021 at the Experimental Garden of Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir. The design used in this study was a randomized block design with 9 levels of treatment which was repeated 3 times so that there were 27 experimental units. The research data were analyzed using ANOVA at a 5% significance level. The results showed that the application of PSOC (Pusri Organik Cair) and inorganic fertilizers had no significant effect on the pH value, N-total, P-available and K-dd levels of soil and the PSOC treatment application to soil & seeds + 100% Urea & NPK was a treatment which can increase the levels of N-total, P-available and K-dd in the soil because it has the highest percentage increase in the control value (100% NPK & Urea). The results of this study suggest that it is better to plant red chili in Ultisol by giving PSOC (Liquid Organic Pusri) seed application (seed treatment) + PSOC watered on the soil + 100% recommendation of NPK + Urea fertilizer, because it has been proven to increase pH, N-total levels, P-available and K-dd.
